How is GST calculated?

To add GST: GST amount = amount × rate ÷ 100. To remove GST: GST amount = amount − (amount × 100 ÷ (100 + rate)).

What is the difference between CGST and SGST?

For intra-state supplies, GST is split equally into CGST (central) and SGST (state). For inter-state supplies, a single IGST applies at the same combined rate.
